Ant Law | Back
Guitar

Having studied at Edinburgh University and Berklee College of Music, guitarist Ant Law moved to London in 2008, but initially worked mainly as a session musician in pop and mainstream environments. But he continued to pursue his jazz interests, regularly visiting New York to study with such major figures as Gilad Hekselman and Ari Hoenig.

From 2011 he began to work more frequently on the jazz scene, including being part of Leah Gough-Cooper's Human Equivalent, and in 2012 he formed his own quartet. This made enough of an impression that the national jazz agency, Jazz Services, agreed to help finance a debut recording, and in 2013 the quartet embarked on its first national tour.
